ABOUT THE
LANCASTER LIGHTNING YTC 2008
The Lancaster Lightning
Youth Track Club is a youth organization
dedicated to providing athletic activities to
kids five through eighteen years of age. We were
established in December of 1999 for the purpose
of providing amateur athletic competition for
youths in the disadvantaged areas of Dallas. Our
goal is to alleviate juvenile delinquency,
substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, and high
school dropouts by providing positive
environments and role models. Our mission is
dedicated to the promotion of the priceless
rewards of personal achievement by providing
young men and women with a foundation for
competing in our society today, not just
in sports but as a productive citizens of
tomorrow.
